What to confirm before approval
Confirm the paper construction
A metallic appearance does not identify the base paper, decorative layer, reverse face, film, coating or adhesive. Confirm the proposed construction and finished board weight before comparing options for a box, sleeve or insert.
Check artwork on the actual surface
Mark areas that should stay reflective and areas needing opaque colour, readable text or barcodes. Review printed colour, small text and fold positions on the selected material; a screen preview cannot establish the finished appearance.
Approve a project sample
Compare the flat sheet and folded sample, including visible edges and handling marks. Confirm converting and any required documentation for the specific material before production approval.
